Plan Your Visit

WELCOME TO CHURCH!

We want church to be a place where your entire family is encouraged to draw closer to Christ. Visiting somewhere new can be intimidating. We want to make sure that you feel comfortable and welcome when you walk into our doors. We have smiling faces waiting to greet you and we will show you where to go.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What do I wear?

There is no dress code or “Sunday best”. Just come as you are and wear whatever you feel most comfortable in. We care about YOU, not what you’re wearing!

What is a typical service like?

One of the leaders of Intersection will get things going, and you might hear some stories of good things that people have seen God doing during the week. The band will lead a time of worship which every week includes multiple languages.  Words for songs are projected onto a screen and you can stand up or sit down when you like.

After worshipping God, there are a few adverts and news items for things that are going on in the life of the church and then one of the leaders will preach from the Bible for about 30 mins.

The aim of the sermon is to understand the heart of God, be filled with the Holy Spirit and live like Jesus extending God’s Kingdom.

After the sermon we often have time to respond to God and be prayed for.

Typically, after the last song, everyone is welcome to join us for some good coffee (life is to short to drink bad “church coffee”) and a delicious snack. However, we are avoiding shared food and drink due to COVID exposure risks right now. We look forward to the day when we can all share refreshments together again!

What do you have for my kids?

Children are a special part of our congregation and we value them as full participants in the life of our church. Children aged 3 years – 5th grade are welcome to connect every Sunday in person at 10:20 am for Children In Worship.

We strive to provide a safe environment for kids and families, so our security volunteers will monitor the halls during the service.

Babies and toddlers are cared for by loving volunteers in our nursery.

Kids are also welcome to stay with their parents during every one of our services; we know that it can be hard to come to a new place sometimes.

All of our kids ministry volunteers must pass background checks and have a heart for kids and families.

Where do I go when I arrive?

We have parking available all around the church campus with handicap parking located near the entrance of our main church building. We also have provided valet parking if you have special needs for senior adults or expectant mothers as well as a lift on the southeast side of the building.

Once in, one of our team members would love to meet you and show you around! Please feel free to say, “This is my first time,” and we’ll guide you in! We’d love to give you a gift as a first-time guest so be sure to check-in with our hospitality volunteer!
