At Intersection, we believe that the Church is God's primary means of making holistic disciples, of bringing about positive change that transforms our lives and our communities. Through the Holy Spirit, God has given each of us what we need to accomplish His great commission work of going out and making disciples of all nations (Matt. 28:16-20).

The MISSION of our Living Groups is "To empower sustainable life change that welcomes God's transformation of self for the World."

Why join a Living Group?

Because we want to help ignite or re-ignite your passion for your first love: The Living Jesus. When you have him as your first love, you will experience rich, intimate fellowship; when Jesus is first, when Jesus becomes everything, there’s joy! And you and I need a community of people to help us multiply holistically as we connect and grow in our love for Jesus so that we can invest and serve in our church and community for the sake of the Great Commission Impact. Being part of a Living Group will help you serve, grow, invest, and reach out, always bringing you back to know that a living Person named Jesus is on the other side.

And yes, God wants us to do things for him. He wants us to be hard-working and sacrificial. He wants us to engage in ministries and serve in our community, and He wants us to give generously. Still, these things can never take the place of what is at the center of our faith- JESUS!

Understanding your commitment

  • Jump in with both feet! Come with a spirit of generosity, joy, and humility, thinking of first being there for others.
  • Commit to a group of people by showing up to your small-group meeting every week. Know that your absence will adversely affect the group’s dynamic and the experience of the other members. They need you!

Participate in all facets of the Living Group life:

  • Fellowship – Have fun sharing little bits about your life
  • Bible study – Be bold and participate in the discussion. There is no such thing as a dumb question when pursuing a fuller understanding of God’s Word,
  • Prayer – Remember, prayer is between you and God. Give yourself grace as you explore different forms of prayer.
  • Outreach – Be willing to reach out to those beyond your small group. Show up to outreach & social event! Remember, God always gives us more when we give to others.

What would the Living Group @ Church look like?

Living Groups @ Church will meet for eight weeks starting on Sunday, February 5th, from 4 - 5:30 pm. There will be a Social Gathering to have fun together and a Service Night.

We will start with a welcome and prayer during each gathering followed by a teaching using curriculum from Live a Better Story. We will then move into our respective groups for a time of conversation and time in prayer led by a designated group leader. During our time together, kids will meet with their leaders in the gym for a time of learning with fun activities.
